MY REQUEST FOR SAKE OF MANKIND
THIS SITE AND COMMUNITY IS MEANT TO GIVE EFFORT FOR CONTINUATION OF HUMANKIND.

ALL WHO ARE AVAILABLE TO SPREAD THE WORD OF THIS, OR PARTICIPATE ON THIS PROJECT, ARE WARMLY WELCOME.

PROJECT TO SAVE MANKIND, INTERNATIONAL SPACE AGENCY (ISA), NON-PROFIT NON-CENTRALIZED MOVEMENT DEDICATED TO GATHER PEOPLE OF THE WORLD AND ORGANIZE CO-OPERATION OF COUNTRIES AND SPACE AGENCIES LIKE NASA AND ESA TO SCIENCE SEARCH AND SPACE EXPLORATION, FOR FUTURE PURPOSES OF BUILDING SPACE STATIONS/CITIES AND THEN FOR COLONIZATIONING MARS PROGRAM AND STUDY.

MY WONDERING, WHERE FROM THIS COMMUNITY STARTED
Survival of humankind should be top priority for whole world. And it demands us to move outside Earth’s atmosphere.

I was thinking about starting world-common project (non-profit, non-centralized, for all who are willing to participate as much as they can, even a little, to get it forward and spreading word) to ensure continuation of humans even in case of asteroid/comet impact or nuclear war, above clouds that WILL cover Earth for years at some point of future, for sure.

Most simple way at the moment would seem to be building permanently habituated and self-sustaining space-station (and perhaps later more of them) above equatorial orbit inside magnetosphere (protected from radiation and solar winds). Greenhouse departments would provide oxygen, food and earth-like environmental for mental-health of habitants (and even act as "Noah’s Ark" for other life-forms of Earth).

My question as following is concerning practical dilemmas of this project (if whole World with its countries and space-agencies would co-operate and cut even a fracture from its military spending, funding would be arranged easily, and be beneficial f.ex. scientific research of space with HUGE telescopes outside distractions of earth’s atmosphere, and even act as a stepping-stone for further expansion in space, especially after invention of space-elevator when these stations could act as docks):

How far away from Earth this space-station should locate so that it would be far enough from clouds of nuclear-winter, far enough from gravitational pull of Earth, but close enough to be protected by magnetosphere (and in case of lower shielding for meteoroids, enough inside Earth’s atmosphere)?

If space-station could not be close enough to Earth to be protected from meteoroids by atmosphere, how thick (and from what material) should shielding facing space be? And in that case, how far from Earth should space station be to receive enough light for greenhouses facing Earth (from reflections of light from Earth’s surface/seas/clouds when day-time on Earth below space-station, and from Sun light when sun is on other side of the Earth, and surface below Space station has night)?

As obvious, space station should have gravity by centrifugal force created by the spinning of space-station (I have heard that it would require space-station larger than/as two miles, but space station of this scale would need to be huge anyway). Eventually, there could be f.ex. 4 space stations with elevators reaching Earth in equator, first in birthplace of humanity, Africa (Kenya / Uganda / Congo / Gabon), one in jungle of Brazil, one in jungle of Borneo, one in middle of Pacific Ocean.

Later on, could it be that Mars could be easily and quickly habituated by giant domes build (by programmed robots) on lopes of mountains, where circulation of water (brought by pipes from northern polar cap) would go from lake/sea in the bottom of dome to upper hills of mountain, raining down (even as snow on top) and forming rivers coming back to lake/sea under it? Building next to these huge volcanoes would also have benefits for mining minerals.

Thank you for your answers and suggestions, from behalf of all humankind and future generations.
