How are points awarded?
Documentation is necessary to ensure that the correct amount of points is awarded to the right member or perspective member. Regular meeting points are given to those who have signed-in. Service, social, and fundraising points are recorded when your name is on the list the from the person in charge. Committee points are given to those actively serving on a committee at the end of each semester. You can check on your documentation with the Secretary at any time.
How are my points tabulated?
For each Regular Meeting you attend, you'll receive 2 Points. (Eight/semester)
For each Social Event you go to, you'll receive 3 Points. (Four/semester)
For each Service Project you participate in, you'll receive 3 Points. (Four/semester)
For each Highway Clean-up you participate in, you'll receive 4 Points. (Two/semester)
For each Fundraiser you complete, you'll receive 4 Points. (Two/semester)
For each Committee you serve on, you'll receive 5 Points. (One/semester)
For each Committee you chair, you'll receive 7 Points. (One/semester)
For each Office you hold, you'll receive 10 Points. (One/semester)
Where are my points tabulated?
A form with your information is kept by the chapter secretary. If, at any time, you should want to check your information, contact the secretary.
What levels of achievement are there?
BRONZE: 20-30 POINTS
A distinguished member that achieves bronze status will receive a Kappa Delta Pi pin, a certificate, and the honor of wearing Kappa Delta Pi cords during graduation.
SILVER: 39-55 POINTS
A distinguished member that achieves silver status will receive a Kappa Delta Pi pin, a certificate, and 50% off of Kappa Delta Pi honor cords for graduation.
GOLD: 56-78 POINTS
A distinguished member that achieves gold status will receive a Kappa Delta Pi pin, a certificate, free honor cords, and a letter of achievement illustrating your dedication to education for your portfolio.
