Halo: Combat Evolved
Halo Admission Fee: $2.00
Halo Tournament Times:
Individual Slayer to 15 Kills - 1:00 pm
Team (2 to 4 member) Slayer to 25 Kills - 4:00 pm
Anyone caught cheating of any kind will be disqualified without a refund.
Any attempts by a player to get their character outside the playable map will be considered cheating and will result in disqualification.
Everyone watching the tournament must be 5 feet away from the players.
Both halo tournaments will be a single elimination tournament. Once you are eliminated you are out of the tournament.
Character Registration:
When a person registers, your character specs will have to be written down (name, color, look sensitivity, etc.) A staff member and only a staff member can enter the characters into the game. This will prevent anyone claiming that person cheated.
Individual Slayer:
Every match will be played with four people every round. The top three of every match will be advanced to the next round.
Each match will be played to 15 kills.
First round matches will be played in Damnation, all other rounds will be a different map. The maps are predetermined by the directors and judges. The predetermined maps will not be said until it is time to play them. The reasoning to this is to have a winner that is good all around not just in a certain map.
Some people complained about the competitors' ability to see their screen and asked if we would alleviate this problem. The answer is no. We can't cater so far as to get each of the 4 players their own TV set. However, we are trying to get LAN technology, we should be able to hook up 2 sets at once.True, it's possible to get 16 players at a time, but we're only getting enough to support 2 teams of 4 for team slayer.
Team Slayer:
Team Slayer will be played to 25 kills except the final match will be to 50 kills. Teams may have no more than 4 members and must have a t least 2 (solo players are not allowed). You must make your own team. Team registeration will go until 3:00 pm.
First round matches will be played in Rat Race, all other rounds will be a different map. The maps are predetermined by directors and judges like the individual slayer.
In this mode, nobody looks at your screen but you and your team, so no complaining.
Options:
Respawn Time is instant without growth
Weapon sets will be set to Generic
Team Indicators(if applicable) and Motion Trackers will be active.(If you don't like radar, don't liik at it)
Mario Kart Double Dash
Double Dash Tournament Fee: $1.00
Tournament Time: 1:00 pm
Dance Dance Revoltuion
DDR Tournament Fee: $2.00 for each division
Divisions: Light, Standard, Heavy, Doubles, Freestyle
Tournament Times:
Qualifying Rounds - 1:00 pm on DDRMax and DDRMax2
Light - Around 2:00 pm on DDRMax2
Followed by Standard and Heavy
Doubles - 3:00 pm on DDRMax
Freestyle - 5:00 pm on DDRMax
If a division gets 8 or less people entered in it will be dropped except heavy mode. All prizes for dropped divisons or other tournaments will be given to other first place or second place winners. This is a rule that will be stated for all tournaments at the event. If the division or tournament that you entered is dropped your tournament fee will be returned and you are allowed to enter into another division or tournament for free.
Anyone caught entering a division lower than they normally play (a heavy player entering light or standard) will be disqualified from the tournament without a refund. No exceptions will be made. If you are disqualified from the tournament, you are still able to play other games since you paid the admission fee.
Each division will have a qualifying song. This will be used to set up the brackets. Everyone who does a qualifying song will play in the tournament. The highest ranking players will recieve first round byes if there are any.
The qualifying songs are as follows:
DDRMax2:
Light - Xenon (4 foot)
Standard - Ghosts Vincent De Moor Remix (6 foot)
Heavy - Vanity Angel (8 foot)
DDRMax:
Light - My Generation Fat Beat Mix (4 foot)
Standard - Rhythm and Police K.O.G G3 Mix(6 foot)
Heavy - Drop the Bomb System S.F. Mix (7 foot)
After the brackets are set up the tournament will begin. All rounds will be single elimination. Heavy will be double elimination if 16 players or less enter. In each bracket the person with the most perfects from the qualifying round will choose the first song or which side he or she wants. the player with the most perfects at the end of each song will advance to the next round. If the players are tied one to one (each winning one song), the third will be chosen at random (roulette).
Failing Songs:
If a player fails a song he or she chose the winning of the song will automatically go to the opponent.
If a player fails (grade E) on the third song, they will automatically lose the song regardless of the amount of perfects. If both players fail the third song we will start at the perfects and go down the list until we see a difference.
If you press anything for your score not to be shown at the end of the song you will automatically lose the song.
All light and standard players are not allowed to choose songs with automatically locked steps. (Dark Blue Feet)
There will be no warmups after the qualifying songs, if you would like to warm up proceed to the DDRMax station before Doubles begin.
Doubles and Freestyle
Brackets will be randomly picked.
Both players will choose their songs. Player 1 will choose a song and play it followed by Player 2 playing it. The player with the most perfects gets the point. Then player 2 will pick the song and both players will play it. Again the player with the most perfects will get the point. If the match is 1-1, a third song will be randomly picked. For failing grades look at the section above.
For freestyle, the player may do anything they want as long as it does not cause damage to the equipment. It is my personal equipment and borrowed equipment please do not mess it up. There will be no more than 5 judges that grade on difficulty (10 points) and creaticity (10 points). the person with the best score out of 100 points will win.
