Because of the number of photos on this page, it may take
awhile to load. I hope you'll find it worth the wait!

Gettysburg, PA July 1994
I used the torn green paper to represent all the hills around Gettysburg.
To give the pages that finishing touch, I had my local copy center make color copies of
some pictures from a book on Civil War uniforms onto some of my acid-free paper.

Gettysburg, PA July 1994, continued
We started at the Visitors' Center, then walked all the way out to Little Round Top.
Then we drove around to see the monuments and the cemetery. Very sobering.

July 1998
1998 was the 135th anniversary of the Battle at Gettysburg, and there were five times
as many re-enactors as in previous years. Jim couldn't stop taking pictures!

There were so many pictures left over, I decided to make a mosaic page.
I centered two favorite photos on the page, then cut 4-5 others into 1" squares and
placed them around the edge to "frame" the central photos. Love the effect!
