Costa Maya, Mexico, is a brand new port and you can tell! There's a dock big enough
for ships like the Grand Princess, there are rocky beaches and a bit of shopping,
but it didn't take long to explore the entire port. It has great potential, though!

Inside the "shopping mall" at Costa Maya where they really emphasize the Mayan
history of the area. Jen was intrigued by the salt water pool, but said it was too cold to get in!

Pub Night is a tradition on every cruise ship.Audience participation games
and entertainment provided by the cruise staff are the highlights of the evening!

In Cozumel, Jason and I toured the Mayan ruins at San Gervasio while
Jim and Jen tried their hand at deep-sea fishing -- with no success!

Some of the ruins at San Gervasio; our tour
guide was excellent and made the tour very enjoyable.

After our tour of the ruins, we got to see a Mexican folk dancing exhibition.
The dancers and their costumes were incredible, and even Jason enjoyed it!

Dicey Horse Racing is another cruise tradition. Passengers bet on wooden horses,
who then race according to the roll of the dice. Winners are paid according to the odds.

I love to watch ice carvers at work; they create such awesome works of art!

The Bottacelli dining room, and the Baked Alaska parade, a
cruise ship tradition reserved for the last night of the cruise.

Due to an ice storm in Harrisburg, we got stuck overnight at the
Pittsburgh airport, then spent the next day trying to get back to Harrisburg.
It wasn't fun, but we finally got home safely 24 hours later than planned!
