Blood (Slide 1) is
composed of three major cell types, erythrocytes (RBCs), leukocytes
(WBCs), and platelets. These cells may be affected in various blood
pathologies. Sickle cell anemia is a group of inherited red blood
cell disorders that affects the erythrocytes (Slide 2). In chronic
granular leukemia affects the WBC causing an increase number of
granulocytes (Slide 3).
