--Ness's Moves--

Basic Moves

Attack: A
This move makes Ness either punch or kick depending on which way you move the conrol stick. Causes about 8%-12% damage.
Throw: R
Ness swings the enemy around before sending him/her flying for 16% damage.
PK Fire: B
Shoots a short range bolt of fire that causes about 10%-15% damage. This move is easily dodged, however
PK Thunder: B + UP
Ness shoots a sphere of lighting that you can steer while it is in the air. Causes about 6% damage and stuns the enemy in place for a few seconds.

PK Magnet: B + DOWN
This move absorbs all of your enemies special attacks and you recover damage when hit. This move is best to use againts Pikachu, Fox, or Samus.
Smash Attack: A + LEFT or RIGHT
Ness whipes out his Gutsy bat and smashes the enemy off the screen. This move takes percise timeing of the buttons to pull off. This move causes 18% damage. This move may not deal a lot of damage. But this move sends enimies flying if they have 90% or above. I use this move as Ness's Knock Out punch.
Yo-Yo (offensive): DOWN + A
Ness's yo-yo shoots out in back the in front of him. This move causes about 20% damage. Ness yo-yo also shoots very far and you can hit enimies that may not be out of range for them to be able to hit you.
Yo-Yo (defensive): UP + A
This move also whips out Ness's yo-yo. This is probably the fastest exicuted move in the game. Ness swings the yo-yo around him so fast it is hard to tell if you even used it. It is near immpossible for enimies to dodge this move. This also doubles as a shield for Ness. Causes about 15% damage .

Taunt: L
This move makes Ness take a bow and yell "OKAY!" This move does not deal any damge but it is fun to do after an oponent gets his but kicked by Ness.

Advanced Moves

This ability can, if used properly, inflict up to 1000% damage and easily knock an opponent away. "Push Air," as I call it, involves you getting the enemy above you, falling. Jump up towards him, and press A. Ness will push the character back into the air. When he falls again, Jump up again and press A to knock him even higher. Repeat until either the enemy is blown away or they break the lock (difficult, but it can be done). The best way to get the enemy above you is to use the "jump down" (Down + A while in middair).

Another of Ness's extremely strong moves involves PK Thunder. It is similar to the save yourself jump, but now, there is a way to blow the enemy away with a cool 30% damage. If you are lined up horiziontally with the enemy such that your relative position is slightly above or below you, and less that a screen lengths away, launch a PK Thunder and hit yourself square in the back. You will come hurtling towards the enemy, and if you impact, shock them. This often does around 30% damage and frequently blows the enemy off the battle field, making it difficult to return. If the enemy is in the middle of a small stage, like DK Jungle Parkway, you can actually jump off backwards, hit yourself with a PK Thunder, and come hurtiling towards them. Once you get good enough you'll can blast yourself with PK Thunder at any angle. If you lucky you can luanch yourself into a hign traffic area and hit multiple enemies. Your sure to hear the crowd chant "GO! NESS!" after you try this move.

Tips to Become a Better Player

The Yo-Yo Trick: This useful trick should be used when you have one or more enimies on the screen. These are fights such as the Yoshi Team, Kirby Team, and the Fighting Polygon Team. All of these levels have a small fighting arena and a few small platforms. Ness's offensive Yo-Yo, (DOWN + A) has a long range of attack. All of the arenas metioned have small platorms, which the range of Ness's offensive Yo-Yo can extend over the entire platform. The trick to the Yoshi, Kirby, and Polygon levels is to stand on one of the platforms. The enimes will fallow you onto the platform. So you know have you, and two or three more enemies on one tiny platform. If you attack you will knock one of the enemies of the platform, but not out the arena. Plus, one of the other enemies will attack you. However, If you use Ness's offensive Yo-Yo, you will hit all of the enemies not only off the platform, but out of the arena. You also will not be attacked.
