American Championship Wrestling Hello and welcome to American Championship Wrestling, one of the greatest e-wrestling promotions ever to hit the internet. An e-wrestling promotion, more commonly known as an e-fed, is an interactive fatasy wrestling federation based on either real or fake wrestlers; which determines winners by means of roleplaying. ACW, for example, is both fiction and reality. We want to have our own characters emerge and develop. Roleplaying is the main point of e-fedding; about 99% of the feds on the interent use it. Roleplaying is the main force in deciding the outcome of e-matches. Basically, it's an in-depth look into your character. You create the scene, you create the theme, and you create what your wrestler says. This is to give, not only the staff, but other wrestlers a view into your wrestler's world... which you control. This gives you the freedom to do whatever you want with your character at all times. Well, at all times except for the cards themselves. Now, I bet your asking yourself ... "But Johnny! How do I control MY character during your guys' cards!?!" ... well, the answer is quite simple. Here at ACW, we also use strategies, or strats. These are written by you, for your character, and they contain everything and anything YOU want your character to do within that show. This can contain certain spots in a match, an interview or two you wish to have, a special entrance, or anything else that you wish to happen. These strats will also determine the outcome of matches. Speaking of outcomes, let me break it down for you. A lot of feds around the internet use different formulas to decide matches. The three main categories which cause controversy are roleplaying, strats, and current angles going on in the fed. Well, here's how ACW lays it out:
There you go. IF you ever complain about losing, I'll show you that. Here at ACW, we try and be as fair and unbias as possible; and I think we do a pretty damn good job of it. Of course, there will always be bitching... American Championship Wrestling is for everyone. If you are a first time e-wrestler, or a veteran, you will have a great time in ACW. If you think you have what it takes, head over to Applications, and fill one out and read up on some rules. - Reporter Johnny Blaze |
