EC School Project

Name of the Project : ThePeople School of the Educated Chamber

Location : Tamilnadu, India

Purpose of the Project:

To provide to poor downtrodden rural children free, high quality, highschool education including computer skills and motivation for self-developmentand social service.

Who benefits from this Project and How ?

Poor, downtrodden children will be benefited from this project. Establishment of such schools for the children of the needy downtrodden is indispensable for the progress of India since 80% of these people live in rural areasand are deprived of high quality school education for their children. The Educated Chamber (EC), a non-profit, social service organisation registered in TN, is initiating this school project. Downtrodden students who will be educated in the School of Educated Chamber will be equipped not only with the abilities to score higher in the competitive exams to enter professional education including medical, engineering, computer fields and so on, but also with social, cultural and leadership education for them to efficiently handle the rapidly changing environment and challenges that are ahead ofthem. Finance for the fixed assets such as the Building has been planned to collect partly from members of EC and partly (mainly) from overseas. The estimated cost for the building is One Crore Rupees. The working capital to cover the salary to teachers, and free boarding and lodging to the poorrural students will be covered by the subscription of the EC members and external sponsorships for children.

Note: The People School of the Educated Chamber has been approved by the Tamilnadu Foundation (TNF), USA. The TNFis a tax-exempted charitable organisation functioning from USA. This means Donors from USA will get tax benefits for their contribution to the Schoolproject.
