The above picture is my first American Eskimo Dog. I got her at the humane society in Thurston Co. Washington. She has been diagnosed with PRA, a genetic eye disorder where the dog eventually goes blind. The ophthalmologist told me in September of 1999 that most of Missy's vision was gone, and she would probably be totally blind within the next six months. Here are a couple of links for information on PRA and blind dogs. I'll continue to add more as I can.
