Cassandra hides most of her memories from the laboratories. She was a latter creation whose dislike of fighting quickly meant she was used instead for experimentation and menial tasks. During this time she was taught to read by a kindly scientist who sought to help her find some sort of magic in life. This scientist eventually released her, when the laboratory was ambushed by Pookamon Rights Activists. She fled and then found herself wandering in the woodlands, mostly in Pokemon form, too shy to approach anyone and compeletely ignorant of the Island Haven.

Until she met Brooke that is - a chance meeting as the Vaporeon girl was leaving Cerulean for Celadon. At first she was nervous, but quickly warmed to the girl with the mind of a child, the girl that could see magic in anything. She was as much a help to Brooke in her escape to freedom as James and Buttons.

Shy in demeanour, Cassandra very rarely talks to anyone whom she does not know. This of course makes it hard for her to know anyone. She loves to read, and can generally be found with a book in hand. Despite this fact, she never had a name until Brooke gave her one, regarding herself as too insignificant to need one. Once she has made friends with someone, she will stand by them until the end.
