ISRAEL 2000-The Holy Land
I have been fortunate enough to travel to many places on this planet we call home.Of all the places i have been to, the place that ranks top in my mind is without a doubt ISRAEL.The country has a myriad of cultures,a host of unique problems and so much heritage it makes it worthwhile as a destination. I have been there twice in my life and below some photos of my journeys.My intention is to return as i have seen much ,but there is probably still more to see and experience than what i have seen or experienced.Israel is one of those places where one is merely not a bystander but an actual part of the country,if that makes any sense.
Above a pic of Tel Aviv, a city i dub as the city that never sleeps.There is allways something going on here and students flock to Tel Aviv in search of a good time.This is a shot taken of the beach front area.

The old Jaffa harbour where even Napolean landed in.So much heritage here in Israel.
I found this museum in the windy streets of Jaffa.Seems there is a famous Goor somewhere in the world.lol
What surely must be the most famous of all walls in the world.The western wall known as the wailing wall in Jerusalem.
This pic also taken in Jerusalem and in this building is the crypt of Christ.Millions of people annually make a pilgrimage to just this building.
This photo was taken from the Jerusalem wall, for a nominal fee ($3 US or so) it is possible to walk almost right around Jerusalem along the wall.AS you can see by all the satellite dishes etc ,a case of new technology in an old ,old city. Fascinating.Just as a matter of interest whilst walking around Jerusalem i came across 2 internet cafe's in the Old City.
Superman alive and well and found alive on top of Mt Tiberius where i think is where Moses received the 10 commandments from God.
