JULY- Tension between members start to become more obvious as Gubler begins isolating himself from the others.
OCT- Gubler quits the group for the second time, Agent X makes it clear he will not make him welcome for a third and the AOK begins to audition for the part once again.
Returning back to an acoustical format again, the group builds upon their three part vocal harmonies. The Balance has grown into a second album with the amount of material acquired for it
NOV- Agent X begins writing the novel for the Dark and the Light.
Guitarist Rodney Loften becomes the next recruit for the Agents of KAOS.
Name is Changed to "Agents of Kaos" Permanently.
DEC- Bassist Jeff Faulkner is recruited by the AOK.
1997-
JAN- Group begins to create agent sightings and prepare to schedule shows.
APRIL- Problems already begin to surface for the group. More time is spent arguing than working together on ideas, aside from the music.
MAY- First of AOK's shows with new format and songs.
All of the AOK begin to work as a well oiled machine, on stage at least.
JUNE- Beginning of the end, as personal conflicts begin to burn at full flame with-in the band.
