4/6/02 Santa Surplus has an immensely updated website, in case you can't tell, you fucking ripoff. We are playing tomorrow, Sunday the 7th at Maddogs on 10th and Western and 4 PM or something. 3/24/02 Well it seems that we have a couple of shows coming up one is this Friday at Shooties lounge (sooner market mall on reno and sooner in mwc) we're running a door that night so bring some money. We will also have our merchandice on sale that night which now consist of Santa Surplus T-shirts(medium and large both $10), stickers (25 cents),and The Santa Surplus demo "The Dead Dog Demo" ( 2 bucks) So bring some extra dough yo! farewell and goodnight! 3/3/02 We finally got our demo done. We decided to just use the version of "let me in!" that we already had (check out mp3.com for that. Lucas got his vocals done so we should have demos available soon!! bye-ee! love/chad
2/27/02 Well the green door show turned out better than we thought. In fact it was our best show to date. Thanks to everyon who showed up we really appreciate it.Subsanity were badass as usual. Sour Vein were equally **repeat witty white trash lingo**.Thanks from us to reggy for letting us play. Playing there has been a goal of ours since the green door opened. Reggy asked us back for sometime in April. We also just got another show for april at MADDOG'S (a new venue that the band spooky fruit just opened or at least thats what I was told) The date for that show is April 7th so please come out. Lucas Ryan and Aaron ordered stickers from stickerguy.com We got about 500 of them so maybe they will last and mabey they will go fast. Each one seems to have obvious benifits you know. We also have finally ordered our shirts after months of negotiations. So be on the look out for flying SS merchandice in the near future.thank you and goodnight LOVE/CHAD
2/23/02 Well technically as of now our show is tommorow but since its just like 1:52 am I guess its in two days but lets drag on things like that. As of now I am getting kinda nervous about the show mainly because I am not so nieve as to think that this could not break us if we fuck up. But I am staying optimistic. We are mentally as well as musically preparing. I hope we do well. chad

1/29 We are as of yet still not approved for "let me in " on mp3.com ,However, as Lucas put it we are almost done with our demo. We are also awaiting approval to play at the green door which is my new goal. Our friends Ex Machina are now signed to mushroom cloud records I just found out so a large santa surplus congratulations is in order. ASs of right now I have no idea when the next show will be however I have an idea for a gathering of about four bands at "arm the broken hearts fest" , a small small party for those without on valentines day. However I have no idea if it will even happen due to a lack oulets such as facilities and funds so we'll just have to wait and see I guess. We should have our shirts done at some time in the next 20 years but i am going to make number of patches out of the new image at the top of the main page of the site those will probably be about 2 bucks so bring some money. 1/26 --- The Shooties show went alright. not fantastic, not craptastic, just comfortably in between those two.
The MP3.com site is up. The March of Santa Surplus is on, Let Me In! is on it's way. The demo
should be completed this week, for we are awating upon the recording of Apple Deer Corn.
