Chapter Sixteen

After I finally got Kyle calmed down, which wasn't exactly the easiest thing to do with my feeling the same way, I went home. As soon as I walked into the house, I heard my brother's playing thier music unnecessarily loud. And with the headache I had gained at Kyle's, I wasn't in the mood.
I walked up the stairs with full intentions to ask them to turn it down, I stopped when I heard the song "Always" by Bon Jovi.
This Romeo is bleeding,

I don't know how long I stood there, listening to the song, but the words floated around in my head. It reminded me of Katelyn and how much she had changed, and he boyfriend. About how much I wanted to be with her, and how British Boy had her.
"Tay?"
I jumpped, not noticing my little brother Zac standing in front of me. The music had stopped and I was still gripping onto the handrail.
"Tay? You alright, man?" Zac asked, looking at me as if I were about to crack. He wasn't far from wrong.
"Yeah, Zac, I'm fine. I just have a headache. Do you mind keeping the music down?" I asked in a slurred voice.
Zac laughed. "You look and sound drunk. But okay whatever." he turned around and went back into his room.
I finished climbing the stairs and walked into my room and shut the door.
Hoping to get rid of my headache, I laid down on my bed, turned the ringer off on my phone. I laid my head on my pillow and went to sleep.
