Junior
leadership School (JLS) Description:
School is designed to help Junior Young Marines develop
their The Young Marines Senior Leadership interpersonal
and leadership skills. Instruction includes in depth
discussion on the definition of leadership, leadership
principles and traits, introduction to the Marine Corps
troop leading steps, conduct of close order drill and
unit physical training. The schools goal is to
prepare the Junior Young Marines for leadership positions
in their units, schools, and communities.

Staff members are required.
