Linda Magill Memorial Baseball Scholarship Award


In the fall of 1997 Linda Magill, the mother of Steve & Shaun, passed away. Linda was an avid fan of Piqua Baseball, and, along with her husband, Steve, had been a major influence on Piqua Baseball through their years of involvement with Piqua Youth Baseball and summer ACME baseball.

Steve, Jr., helped to lead Piqua Baseball to their first regional tournament in 30 years in 1995. In that year Steve was named the Division I player of the year, and Piqua finished that year ranked no. 2 in the state in Division I.

To honor Linda's love of the game and her commitment to Piqua Baseball, a baseball scholarship in her name was inaugarated. This scholarship will be selected by the Linda Magill family and will be awarded to a graduated senior for spring quarter of their freshman year of college.
