The Loyal Opposition - Newsletter Introduction
Welcome to the second Loyal Opposition newsletter. We hope to
create four newsletters a year. Don't hesitate to send your feedback, positive or negative.
If the replies are good maybe each newsletter can contain a section that prints your feedback, especially
those whose opinions differ from those presented here. Also feel free to present your own articles for consideration. Please understand that all work will be posted anonymously.
The focus of these newsletters will be thought provoking articles. Hopefully provoking you to grow in God's Word, and take action upon what you have learned.
Maybe you won't agree with what is written here, but the prayer is that all of us will dig deeper than we are now.

This newsletter attempts to open the door to examine the theology of our nation's Founding Fathers
compared to what we believe today. The primary preacher of the "Great Awakening", George Whitefield, is the main focus in the first article
entitled "Where are We Now?"
Then we take the question presented in that article and look at a specific issue in todays'
fight for the unborn and ask the question, "What would they have done about FACE?"
Then in the article, "Why Picket?", a biblical
justification is given for the validity of this form of protest.In contrast to what the Founders risked, picketing has very
little negative impact on your own personal life. Yet as the article points out, the results can be life saving. The second
Newletter closes with the entire sermon referenced to in the first article by George Whitefield.
