MC: What is your greatest personal victory?
JM: My biggest victory was realizing I don't have to please everyone.
MC: What's the hardest thing you have had to overcome?
JM: Being honest about my feelings. For example, my relationship with my
father has changed because I am able to say what I need. When I was a
little girl, I put my father on this platform. I always craved a
relationship with him I didn't think I could have. I went to therapy and
began to understand why. Now he's become my mate, not just someone I look
up to. We connect on the same plane.
MC: Describe how the world would change for you if violence against women
did not exist.
JM: I'd stop walking with my keys in between moy fingers at night in case I
need to punch someone in the eye. I would enjoy my walk home.
MC: What is sexy?
JM: The sexiest thing in the world is kissing. When your mouth doesn't want
to be anywhere else but inside someone else's mouth.
MC: What is beautiful?
JM: Right after a great yoga class, when everything is open: my heart, my
breasts... whem I'm standing on the ground and I feel so intact in my body,
while my head is in a spiritual place.
MC: If your vagina were to wear clothes, what would it wear?
JM: A pair of faded Levi's and a white T-shirt.
MC: If your vagina were to speak, what would it say?
JM: "Love me".
