Day 9

Slept in and took my time getting ready today.

I stopped by the kiosk to activate my multiplier and stopped by the VIP room to see my host.

While I was there I got a text from Jimbo & Katy letting me know they had arrived. They will also be spending a few nights here over the next few days. After they got checked in we went to their room and had lunch. They had some sandwiches they got before they got here and I grabbed a quick lunch to go at Panda Express and ugh, paid for it.

After lunch we hit the machines. I was having a fairly steady session with a few quads and some dealt winners. For the first time this trip I was dealt 4 to a royal. I called out “Here we go”. Jimbo and Katy looked on as I hit the deal button and landed the dreaded king high straight flush on the bottom line along with 3 high pairs and two flushes. Oh yeah, and a royal on line 5 & 6 for the jackpot.

I was paid for the royals and continued on. Very little was hitting and the drain was taking place. I ended up down just over $400 for the session not counting the hand pay.

We all took a short break and regrouped before hitting the next session. I was hitting quads frequently and getting dealt plenty of winners. I was up over $300 and things got tough. I played until I had lost those profits and cashed out with a $6 win.

We took a break for dinner we went to Cafe Aquarius. I went with the pot roast again and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. The pot roast was really good and I think there was twice as much meat on the plate than there should have been.

When we were done with dinner it was back to the machines. I started off slow and hovering but then things got bad and I was dropping credits far quicker than I was winning them. I dropped close to 6 bills and gave up. I already dropped one royal since I hit the hand pay. I didn't want to lose the other.

I wandered around for a while playing some penny games with no luck but the loses were minimal.

I came back to the room, did some laundry and then watched TV before going to bed.
