Day 8

I was up early today and felt rested thanks to coming upstairs early last night.

I hit the casino and swiped again today to activate my multiplier then started playing. My play was quite light the last few days so the plan today is to hopefully make up some of that without getting killed.

I started the day with 10 play as usual. Hit a set of aces early on and was getting some good dealt winners but then it got streaky. Things got good when I hit my 3rd royal of the trip on a 3 card hold. This got me way ahead and the good hands continued for a while. The bleed started so I cashed out to take a lunch break keeping the entire royal in tact.

For lunch I got a turkey and Swiss wrap and a canoli at Duet. Nothing fancy and it did the trick.

After lunch I was back at the machines. Not as good a session but I got some decent play in losing $300.

I took a walk around the casino after this playing some penny games. I had some good luck thanks to a few big hits and taking the money and running.

Next was a walk across the street to Family Dollar to grab a few items and then back over here to Aquarius for a break. I actually fell asleep for about an hour.

I went back to the video poker machines after the break and got beaten up pretty good dumping 5 bills in short order. Now only up $200 from the earlier royal and worried about going negative on the day.

It was time for game 5 of the Vegas Golden Knights and Montreal Canadians so I went over to the sports book to watch. The Knights played like kids out on a pond and got beat 4 – 1. If they play like that on Thursday in Montreal, they are done.

After the game I played some more penny games. I had some huge bonus rounds and some really good sized hits. I actually won more money on slots today than video poker. That's not really how it's supposed to work.

I had a late dinner at Cafe Aquarius that consisted of 2 eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns and rye toast. Tasty and did the trick.

I took one more tour of the penny slots and had a few more hits and then came up to the room to watch TV and wind down another day.
