Day 24
Thursday July 12, 2018
Dee decided to have a chill day and I would go to the Pinball Hall of Fame. This would probably be my last time going here this trip because it's a bit far from our final hotel.
I got there and started playing. This is always a great time and I could literally stay here for many more hours than I already do.
When I got back to the Cromwell I hit the craps table for a little bit. Not much happening here. Win one lose one. I colored up after about 30 minutes with a $10 win which I split with the dealers.
I came up to the room to get Dee and we went over to Harrah's. We collected her new diamond card and got her monthly show tickets vouchers. We decided on Tenors of Rock for tonight.
Next up we played a new Brady Bunch slot. It was not good to us and didn't seem very entertaining. We lost $20 here. Next we moved to Seinfeld slots. These were much more entertaining. We weren't doing well but hit a bonus that was worth 3800 coins and got us back into the game. We cashed out with a $20.10 win so between the 2 machines won a dime.
For dinner we went to Guy Fieri's Vegas at the Linq. My buddy Gary would be joining us and Cathy, Gary's friend would be too. Dee had the shrimp penne and I had the Motley Cue. Dee said hers was excellent. I tried it and and agree. My sandwich was very good and had much more meat than it did in the past. One thing I can say about this place is the prices have gone through the roof. Burgers in the $20 range and Dee's pasta dish with only 5 shrimp in it was $32.50. I used my $100 diamond celebration dinner and points to cover the remaining balance.
After dinner Gary and Cathy left and we went to the show. Our tickets were in the back of the theater but the usher said she was putting us on the floor. We ended up just 5 rows back center.
I though the show ranged from pretty good to sucking depending on what they were doing. Overall I'd rate it as average. They have a unique style that not everyone will like. On the way out of the theater we had to take the back way to use the ramp and as we came out the door the whole group was there and got the door for Dee.
We came back to the Cromwell and I wrapped up our play here on the tables. Most of the session was similar to all of the others but then it got nasty. Number, number out. Number, number, out. Number number out. I ran away down close to 5 bills for what I think was my first craps loss ever here at the Cromwell.
I wrapped up the evening by watching TV and went to sleep.
