Day 11

We were up at 6:30 and started off the day with some in room breakfast and then heading to the pool.

We got cleaned up and hit the buffet for lunch. While it's not a good dinner choice it's ok for lunch. Nothing great but there is usually enough decent stuff for lunch to get by.

Filled up at lunch it was time to ply. We decided to start off by playing 10 play today with Mike and Camela. This session was a total disaster with few dealt winner and being low paired to death. Quads were sparse, full houses were sparse, well, everything but losing hands were sparse. Dee lost 8 bills and I lost 6 on less than 12k in action and everything were were up on the trip was gone in an hour.

We came to the room to take a break. I curled up in the fetal position and sucked my thumb trying to heal the wounds. We hung out up here for a while in the afternoon with the cousins out on the large balcony this room has.

For dinner we had plans to meet up with our good friend Gary at the Promenade Cafe. The cousins, Mike & Camela joined us too. I had the chicken noodle soup with a ½ Asian salad again and Dee had a chicken veggie wrap with French fries. We all had a great time and it was good to see Gary again.

When we finished eating we went back to the casino again. This time we played 3/5 play. I started out well hitting a bonus quad. I also got dealt a lot of small winners and the meter grew slow and steady. Dee was losing slow and steady but between us we were even. I continued doing well and got dealt quad sevens. I was also hitting quads quite often and hit aces twice. Dee busted out and bought in again because we were still even overall. I started dropping a little but another set of aces followed by a straight flush got me back up. Dee was still dropping slow and steady. She was very under quaded and even though she hit 2 straight flushes she dropped $400 while I won $400 and we finished up our play even tonight. I was pretty happy with the result considering what happened this morning.

When we were done playing I ran my free play for the day through 8/5 bonus single line. It was streaky and the $250 in free play became $240 in cash with a few full houses keeping the level up there. We cashed out and came up to the room to wrap up another day in our trip.
