How to Locate Cache
for Browser and empty them .
Netscape 3: In Navigator 3, Click to

"Clear Memory Cache Now" and "Clear

General tab, click on Delete Files in the
"Temporary Internet Files" section.

the next version, then please try the following trick.
1.Click Start, and then click Run.
2.In the Open box, type the following line:
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
3.Click OK, and then click OK again when you receive the
following message:
DllRegisterServer in actxprxy.dll succeeded.
4.Click Start, and then click Run.
5.In the Open box, type the following line:
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
6.Click OK, and then click OK again when you receive the
following message:
DllRegisterServer in shdocvw.dll
succeeded.

When
you browse a Windows 95, 98 or Me machine from a Windows 2000
or XP computer extra time is taken to determine if any
scheduled tasks or printers are enabled on the destination
computer.
Open the registry
and find the key below.
To disable checking for
scheduled tasks delete the
{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} sub-key.
To disable checking for
printers delete the {2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}
sub-key.
The change should take effect
immediately.

To Fix OS Files
System File
Checker - Windows 98 - replace corrupt system files
Click Start then click Run and
type SFC
This will bring the System File Checker
Press the Start button and be sure to have your Windows 98 disk
available for the CD-ROM. This will check the system files for
any corrupted files and will restore the original files.
Sometimes this can correct problems with Windows.
Windows File
Checker - Windows XP - replaces incorrect system file
versions
Click on Start then click on Run and type in cmd.
This will start the Windows XP Command Prompt . Next type
sfc and you will see the different commands for running
the File Checker. Next type sfc /scannow to scan
all system protected files. Have your Windows XP disk ready for
the CD-ROM.
Windows XP System
Restore
Click on Start then point to Programs then point to Accessories
then point to System Tools then click on System Restore.
From here you can restore your computer back to an earlier time
or create a new restore point. This is an excellent tool to have
available. It really does work. Hint: Before installing a
new program, create a restore point first. You can easily change
your Windows XP back if the new program causes problems.
