Karl Fisher Kean was born on the 23rd of June 1895 in Pools Island, Newfoundland. He died on the 10th of April 1950 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was the son of Frederick Thomas Kean and Lucy Anna Knee. He married Dolorosa Josephine Butler on the 25th of August 1920 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was born on the 24th of February 1897 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and died on the 26th of February 1992 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of John Abrahm Butler and Bridget Duggan.
