Eleanor B "Nellie" Kean was born in Pools Island, Newfoundland on the 7th of July 1899. She died in Montreal, Quebec in November 1947. She was the daughter of Frederick Thomas Kean and Lucy N Knee. She married Howard Crosby in Montreal, Quebec. He was born on the 13th of December 1896 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He died in 1988 in Toronto, Ontario. He was the son of James Crosby and Eva Boutilier.
