Tarot Celebrations Site Review

Tarot Celebrations is the personal/professional site for Geraldine Amaral, author of the mind expanding book by the same name. (If you have not read her book - it is a wonderful combination of Tarot history, explanation of the archetype symbols and a superb combination of ways to use the 22 Major Arcana in ritual and ceremony to enhance our lives.

Under "Some thoughts for Tarot" Geraldine presents an in depth stream of consciousness about what Tarot is for her. Tapping into her thoughts may be able to help you expand what Tarot is in your life too. :)

Under "My thoughts about Tarot and Ritual" Geraldine shares with us an article that was presented at a recent ATA conference that includes ways to clear your decks and ... a new spread called "My Tarot Mission and Grounding Spread". I will not say more about this - she has been extremely gracious in sharing this in a public venue - visit her site for this, if nothing else! :)

Geraldine has also included information about her class schedule (woe is me - she lives in the DC area - I live in the Pacific Northwest!) and her personal readings (I *will* manage the east coast one of these days - and this is on my agenda when I do!).

You will also find information here about the Washington DC Tarot Society, and a page of links to other Tarot sites, both personal and professional.

A real treat for me was her article on the Osho Zen Tarot. Ever since I was gifted with that deck I have had a new appreciation for Tarot. So much so that I use it almost strictly for meditation and personal readings - I have agreed with it, argued with it and used it in a few comparative Tarot readings - it always has something new and different to say. :)

This entire site is a wonderful gift of the heart from Geraldine. To take a few moments and wander through it's pages is a gift to the self. :)
