Wild Wild West

Night of the Whirring Death, #6520

Agents West and Gordon help California Governor Lewis keep the state solvent by securing pledges of $5,000,000 from each of three wealthy, and infamous - residents. In return, the donors are given state bonds and reputable positions. But one by one, the benefactors are attacked via a seemingly benign gift -- a child's toy. Who is behind the attacks? Dr. Miguelito Loveless is suspect number one.

By this, the third episode featuring the diminutive Dr. Loveless, the character's popularity had escalated him into a semi-regular appearance on the show. He had also earned the honor of being the agents' favorite nemesis. Jesse White appeared in a number of movie & tv character roles, including the hour-long pilot episode of The Twilight Zone. Norman Fell would go on to star in the sitcom "Three's Company." Richard Kiel had a number of movie & tv roles including the villain Jaws in 2 James Bond movies and the starring role in Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode "Eegah!"
