Wild Wild West

Night of the Pistoleros, #6819

"A letter to President Grant sends West to a lonely outpost to fight terrorists."

West and Gordon investigate reports from an old Army buddy, Charles Tobin, that a plot is afoot to start a war on the Mexican border. Things are confused when they learn that ringers have been used to replace certain Army men so that the war can be started, and the trick is apparently being perpetrated by a group known only as the Pistoleros.

Edward Binns had already become a recognized face & voice on The Twilight Zone and in radio drama. Robert Pine would go on to be the Highway Patrol boss in the tv series "CHiPs."
