My soul is somewhere else, not near you.
But the one I wish it near is with some other heart.
I wonder, how can a heart take so much abuse?
Not understanding that it doesn’t belong there.
But just hope it will.
Two hearts wanting one another, ignoring the truth. Only excepting the facts.
Missing what’s theirs, and what belongs to them, is sad.
What’s love if you are not willing to go and fight for it?
