As her page noted "If you see anything you like, take it, just give me credit by putting my site in your links or using one of my banners on your site. That's all I ask," So I did. I didn't want the background of this page to be boring. I wanted it to be of a Japanese anime theme, and after browsing around for a pic to use as the background, I found this. Yes, this background shows the five pilots from Gundam Wing, which started out here on the US on the Cartoon Network , during the TOONAMI time block. Oh, for legal purposes, I do not, and never will own Gundam Wing. Also, I don't ANY of the anime characters or the shows mentioned on this page. This page was created so I can help others out in finding anime related information.

Note: As of 4/5/2001: Nikita's page has moved, so the link above isn't up to date. The note about the background remains up regardless of which.

Also, if any owners/ webmasters/ etc. of these websites/ pages have a problem of me linking to them, let me know. I will immediately take action to remedy any problem/ situation that occurs because of a link on this page.

Also, I'm just including links that I've come across. ANY LINKS THAT MY SISTER HAD BOOKMARKED DURING HER TRAVELS ARE IN LIGHT PINK!!! I thank her very much for letting me use these!!! Believe me, there are PLENTY of sites here... :) Special note, these links were either to going to sit there in her folders, or placed on her site... so... better than risk wasting such good talent/links... Corresponding descriptions next to site links do not truly represent what the site has to offer! Go there for yourself to see what it has to offer. Final Note: This may not be the coolest or the greatest page out there, but it's my page and I'll do it the way I want to.

General: Animerica Magazine
This is the home of Animerica Magazine, which is published monthly by Viz Communications. It is because of this magazine, and other factors, that I got involved with Japanese animation in the first place. I think this one of the most reliable magazines out there. It has series information, fan art, reviews for anime and videogames, etc. A good deal of information can be found here.

Animerica Extra
Home of Animerica's sister magazine "Animerica Extra." Has information of the manga/ comic series currently found in this magazine.

Viz Communications Inc.
The publisher of Animerica, Animerica Extra, and PULP. This is the company that is responsible for bringing various animes and mangas to comic book form, video form (like Ranma 1/2), etc. You can find out information on Viz products, or the anime series Viz produces/ translates, etc.

Shoujocon - a celebration of Girls' Manga and Anime!
My first Japanese anime convention ever (during the summer of 2001). This is one of the few anime conventions held in the northeast. In the summer of 2000, it was in Newark NJ. I went to 2001's con, held in East Brunswick NJ. It ~~will be~~ was there this summer (2002). I loved and enjoyed this con... great stuff to be shown, done, and brought. I think if you need a good con to go to, it's a good place to try. There are plenty of activities, the location's great, and prices are very adequate. (I lived 15-20 minutes from the East Brunswick Hilton, where the 2001 Shoujocon was at, so I didn't need a hotel room, but the items sold were fair priced!!!) Next year, I will try to devote more time this con (a guy can only do so much for ~~the now~~ a 3 day long con...).

P.S. I'm thinking about another con in New Jersey... ANIMENEXT... to go to this year...

My sister seems to want (and often does) to go to this site every single day. I have browsed through some of it, and I think it's worth the visit. Lots of stuff indeed on MANY anime series. If you're looking for info on certain anime series/characters, this is a good place to check out.

Anime News Network - News about Japanese anime, the series, etc. can be found here. I personally recommend it.
+This is also a good site to check out comparisons between certain Anime series shown on Toonami/Adult Swim and the original versions. Find out what you're missing/what the censors won't let you see.

Michael's Favorites. It seems that this is a huge collection/archive of screenshots from SO MANY series (both American and Japanese).

Lina'chan, Nuku-Nuku & Filia's Translation Domain This site has translations of some of anime and video games RPG related RPGs that were NEVER released here in the United States.

Male KISS dolls. I'm not very familiar with the KISS dolls, though I've heard they've become very popular. Technically what this is come down to is putting clothes on/making over/ dressing up a male or female characters. At this site, there are Male KISS dolls available.

Joy's Japanimation I brought some stuff here at some point during my anime career... for myself and for presents.

Tamara's Anime Has screen shots, MP3s, and other great goodies for select Japanese Anime series. I really think you ought to give this place a try!

Laws of Anime Not that these apply to every single anime out there, but most of these, when you think about it, does make sense. It doesn't perfectly explain everything that could go on in a show, but it helps. Something you should read on your spare time.

WWWJDIC Translation Aid Always wanted to explore a Japanese site for just more info, pics, etc., but couldn't because of the site is in Japanese? Well here's a site that will help to translate these sites into English. For an alternative, I suggest you go to Altavista.. Here there are many translational aids...

Movies & Video Manga I personally haven't had the time to go through this throughly, but it appears that this site has links to other sites where you can download MP3s, Videos, and Movies of Anime. Though be careful... most of the links could be dated.

Flamadiddle media Can find some MP3s here, and some winamp skins. Most of the stuff is through request.

AnimeLyric.Com A nice place to seek out the lyrics to many of the anime songs that you may like!

AnimeMP3s.org They say that they are the largest anime multimedia collection on the Internet. I personally haven't had the time to throughly comb this site... but I think that this site could have promise. NOT NETSCAPE COMPATIBLE!!!

Mobile Suit Gundam Cartoon Resource Page #18 I've had this bookmarked for a while... just forgot to bring it over to my site. This particular page has the episodes titles to the various Gundam series that aired in the US... and the date that they first appeared in the US.

WARNING: RANTING AND VENTING OF ANGER (for the brunt of the ranting... go to my Anime Page-the Gundam section):

I still wished Cartoon Network would have aired the 4-5 unaired episodes. If you notice the original airdates, then we were pretty close to coming to the end of the Gundam series that started it all. FYI, I DID NOT SEE THE LAST EPISODE THAT AIRED 1/1... for I WAS DOING SOMETHING SPECIAL... Really... would it have killed anyone if the series were the just end with some shred of dignity... could it hurt to let the remainder of episodes that were unaired go aired-IN ORDER? Thanks a lot... now I'm stuck having to buy the graphic novels and the VHS/DVDs... Anyway... granted the war between the Zeon and the Federation would not have ended with the last episode of Mobile Suit Gundam (if that happened, then there'd be no Gundam 0080,0083 or 08th MS Team). I find it ironic that the Cartoon Network will eventually show the movie "Char's Counterattack"... which helps to fill the viewers in on what's going since the end of the original series...

Yu Yu Hakusho:
I love this anime series, really. Forget that it's been brought to the US via. Funimation... wait a second... that's the same company doing Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Wait... eh.... oh well... Personally, it's nice to see some different anime on Cartoon Network (yes... it's a jab at all the Dragon Ball being shown... and yes... I'm still pissed off about Gundam's treatment).

It's important to note that YYH is a LONG series... and I certainly hope that the US will be getting all the episodes... without much screw-ups. This site have episode guides for all the episodes, though BASED ON THE BRAZILIAN VERSION. Good for some comparsion or a look to come (in the US).
