Malls that I have shopped at in my lifetime:

In some cases, I have visited or revisited some mulitple malls in one day.  I think I've managed to visit a total of 5 malls in one day (my 'PERSONAL BEST' record was on a Sunday in October 2004:  visiting Woodbridge, Menlo, Freehold Raceway, Monmouth, and Quakersbridge).

Click on the mall name/location to go to the mall's website.  Note that I've tried keeping the malls links as active as possible.  The malls website url might change as mall ownerships changes.  If any of the link(s) below are dead, try a web search for the mall for the most up to date link.

IN NJ:
                  >>the former Middlesex Mall>South Plainfield  NJ
                       >>My first visit in the late 80's/early 90's;.  The mall only exists today by name.  It used to be a mall... equilvalent to East Brunswick or the Hudson Mall of today... containing a decent, but SMALL selection of stores.  Most of the stores have since shut down or have become part of the strip mall portion of the complex, with the space taken up by the sole department store, and a national brand chain.
                  >>Bridgewater Commons>Bridgewater NJ
                       >>My first visit in the late 80's/early 90's; A mall I go to often
                  >>Woodbridge Center>Woodbridge NJ
                       >>My first visit in the mid 90's; A mall I go to often
                  >>Menlo Park Mall>Edison NJ
                       >>My first visit in the mid 90's; A mall I go to semi-often
                  >>Brunswick Square>East Brunswick, NJ
                       >>My first visit in Spring 2000; A mall that I USED TO go to on occasion.  I made a vow never to step inside that mall ever again... due to an incident that happened back on Black Friday 2003.
                 >>Willowbrook Mall>Wayne NJ
                       >>My first visit in Summer 2001; Not a mall that I have a chance to go to often.
                 >>Monmouth Mall>Eatontown NJ
                       >>My first visit in Summer 2002~7/5/2002; Part of my "Mall Tour 2002"; A mall I go to rarely
                 >>Quakerbridge Mall>Lawrenceville NJ
                       >>My first visit in Summer 2002~7/11/2002; Part of my "Mall Tour 2002"; A mall I go to rarely
                 >>Cherry Hill Mall>Cherry Hill NJ
                       >>My first visit on December 29, 2002; Unofficial part of my "Mall Tour 2002"; It was considered unofficial because I didn't plan on going here.  I went here with a friend from PA (going to this mall from PA while on a visit to said state).  Second visit was made on 11/6/2004 during a brief and efficient swing of the malls in the SW corner of Jersey....
                 >>Phillipsburg Mall>Phillipsburg NJ
                       >>My first and currently only visit was in Summer 2003~8/2/2003; The start of my "Mall Tour 2003."  No other trips have been made.
                 >>Freehold Raceway Mall>Freehold NJ
                       >>My first visit was in Summer 2003~8/12/2003; Second Stop of my "Mall Tour 2003."  To my surprise has become a mall I frequent semi often-depsite the distance.
                 >>Livingston Mall>Livingston NJ
                       >>My first and currently only visit was in Summer 2003~8/24/2003; Third Part of my "Mall Tour 2003."  Second visit made on 11/1/2004.
                 >>Jersey Gardens Mall>Elizabeth NJ
                       >>The last stop of my "Mall Tour 2003."  Went on Black Friday 2003.  Third visit was made on 11/5/2004.
                 >>Paramus Park Mall>Paramus NJ
                        >>The first of the malls hit under my "Mall Tour 2004."  First visited on 1/2/2004.  Recent visit made in 9/2004.
                 >>Garden State Plaza>Paramus NJ
                        >>The second of the malls hit under my "Mall Tour 2004."  First visited on 1/2/2004.  Recent visit made in 10/2004.
                 >>Bergen Mall>Paramus NJ    NO WEBSITE AT THIS TIME
                        >>Unfortunately the third mall hit under my "Mall Tour 2004."  I hated this mall so much... it looks bad on the outside, and what's inside didn't help to overcome its intial appearance (modest store selection... nothing new or special that I couldn't find in any of the other malls I frequent).  First and ONLY visit on 1/2/2004.  This mall is worst than the Brunswick Square Mall!!!  This is the worst of the three malls I visited in Paramus in that one day.  Oh yeah, Paramus Park and Garden State Plaza are MUCH BETTER choices!
                  >>Ocean County Mall>Toms River NJ
                        >>The fourth stop on my "Mall Tour 2004."  Yes... I drove all the way from Middlesex County down south... and honestly it wasn't worth it.  It wasn't that that special or exciting for me.  First visit on 1/19/2004, and it probably will be my last.
                  >>Hudson Mall>Jersey City NJ
                        >>This wasn't an official stop on my "Mall Tour 2004."  I wanted to get to the Newport Centre mall in Jersey City from East Orange (because I was in the area doing something for friends) on 10/11/2004.  Thanks partly due to the lack of familarity in the area, the evening darkness, and bad Yahoo/Mapquest directions (from a starting point that wasn't my home, but rather at a place in an area I'm unfamilar with), I wound up getting lost, only ending up at Hudson Mall at a BAD consolation prize.  This is now the WORSE MALL that I've ever visited... and perhaps the WORSE MALL of the Jersey malls.   Ocean County and yes even Bergen are much better...  An unfortunate fifth stop.
                   >>Rockaway Townsquare>Rockaway NJ
                        >>The sixth stop on my "Mall Tour 2004."  I had some reasons to go here.  It's a decent mall.  Nothing overly special or exciting about it.  First and currently only visit was made on 11/1/2004.
                   >>The Mall at Short Hills>>Short Hills NJ
                        >>The seventh stop on my "Mall Tour 2004."  Yeah, yeah... if I keep hitting these malls, then there won't be many malls left in New Jersey to visit... especially for a "Mall Tour 2005."  I might as well... since I have free time and have the chance to do so!  I must say that this mall is nice, extravagant, and classy.  Definitely NOT your average mall... this is more for those who have money to spend, or perhaps are looking for class.  I personally felt a little out of place here (I felt like I was paying just to breathe here, it's that special... classy... extravagant... that's my ongoing thought).  First and currently only visit was made on 11/1/2004.
                    >>Echelon Mall>Voorhees NJ
                        >>Yes, the EIGHTH stop on my "Mall Tour 2004."  I was in the area for a friend's birthday party, and since I had the chance, I decided to hit the local area malls.  Echelon was the first.  It's average, considering that there two other and slightly better malls not more than 20 minutes apart (Cherry Hill and Moorestown).  First and currently only visit was made on 11/6/2004.
                    >>Moorestown Mall>Moorestown NJ
                        >>Oh baby this was the NINTH and final stop on my "Mall Tour 2004."  I was in the area for a friend's birthday party, and since I had the chance, I decided to hit the local area malls.  Echelon was the first.  It's great, considering that there two other and slightly better malls not more than 20 minutes apart (Cherry Hill and Echelon).  First and currently only visit was made on 11/6/2004.

Of course I'll try again someday...

IN PA:
                >>King of Prussia>King of Prussia PA
***I highly recommend that if you're in the area, you have to visit and shop there!
                     >>If I recall, this probably was the first mall I ever been to, back when the King of Prussia mall was smaller and different (small mall plus strip mall portion). Today it is HUGE... three enomorous buildings with about 6-7 department stores.   My first visit was set approximately in the mid 80's... when I was very young.  A mall I go to (at least I try to given certain circumstances) every time I am in PA.

Note that this mall does not have a Suncoast.  It USED to have a Suncoast... which closed near the end of either 2002 or 2003.  At first, it would have reopened next to Sam Goody (which would have taken up half the space previously own by Goody).  The signs said so (like 'coming soon to this space... Suncoast'), but alas... it never reopened. After months and months of waiting (and visiting in vain whenever I was in PA, the Sam Goody (which the same parent company owns that and Suncoast) just got remodeled, reclaiming the lost space it gave up to Suncoast.  In a mall that has 2 Electronic Boutiques, 3 FYE stores, amongst other interesting stores, would it have killed anyone to have a Suncoast?

                 >>Plymouth Meeting Mall>Plymouth Meeting PA
                       >>My first visit in Winter 1999~12/26/99; First visit in 21st century: 9/8/02.  Not a mall I have a chance to go to often.
                 >>Montgomery Mall>North Wales, PA
                       >>My first visit-as a very young kid-probably in mid 80's; My first visit with driver's license:  Summer 2000.
A mall I go to on occasion when in PA.
                 >>Exton Square Mall>Exton PA
                       >>My first and currently only visit was in Fall 2002~9/8/02; Part of my "Mall Tour 2002"  Not a mall I have a chance to go to often.
IN NY:
                >>Palisades Center>West Nyack NY
                       >>My first visit was back in Winter 2002~12/7/02; The Last of my "Mall Tour 2002"  My second visit was in February 2004.  First mall that I've been too that has 4... yes 4 whopping floors.  Plenty of stores to be found!
                 >>Staten Island Mall, Staten Island NY
                        >>First and currently only visit was on March 19, 2004.  Fifth mall hit in my "Mall Tour 2004."  It was an ok mall... though that $6.00 toll at the Outerbridge Crossing slightly dampened my experiences a little.

IN MA:
                >>The Shops at Prudential Center, Boston MA
                        >>The first visit to this place was on April 30, 2005.  I went to Boston to attend the Anime Boston convention.  The hotel I was staying at was connected (mostly) to the convention center via the mall.  At least in this mall, you could get some decent food, at mall prices.  It was nice and unique.  Didn't have much time to explore it, but it was cool anyway.  Maybe more time in 2006...

POTENTIALLY NEXT ON STEVE'S MALL TOUR 2004 or 2005:

Things I HATE: PARTIAL LIST

-Spiders
-Most insects
-fish
-foods that smell awful
-My EX-roommate's (roommate #3 in my history of Rutgers Roommates) best friend, otherwise known as "Fat Bastard."
-Drivers who can't drive the speed limit (10-20 miles below)
-Drivers who do stupid things (like talking on cell phone while driving, sitting there talking to drivers next to them-thus blocking the street,
-people taking left turns from right turn only lanes
-people who don't use their turn signals
-People who use their cell phones on the bus (THERE IS A SIGN ASKING YOU TO BE COURTEOUS TO THE OTHER PASSENGERS... KEEP THE PHONES OFF DURING THE RIDE... WE DON'T NEED TO HAVE YOU SCREAMING OR HEAR ON HOW CRAPPY THINGS ARE!!!  Conversations with other people ON the bus is fine... having conversation on a phone isn't.  The beeping... the loud voices... the buses are one of the few last places to gather yourself after/before class.  Believe me, if I had a cell phone, I'd be courteous enough.  Hint:  Use the phone when ONLY there's an emergency... like when the bus crashes for example... hopefully something like that won't happen but still you never know...)
-People who call the Housing Office (PURPOSELY) asking for the number of some other DEPARTMENT/BUILDING-and nothing else-not even other housing related issue.  The Housing Office IS NOT the Rutgers INFO service.  I don't mind answering non-housing related questions as long as something housing related was asked first!!!

Or simply... people calling an office PURPOSELY to get the phone number or information ON SOME OTHER place

-Paying retail prices unless absolutely necessary.
-Not saving $$ or having enough of it.
-People joking around about my sex life.  Hint to my friends in PA...
-Not having enough time!
-Not getting the quality of customer service that I deserve
-CompUSA
-A certain person who I worked with for about 2 + years at Rutgers... I won't name a name, but those who know me know damn well who it is!

Candid Shots Part 1:

Here I am chillin'.  This was taken during my FIRST and ONLY trip to Vietnam.  The trip took place just shortly after I graduated from Mauger Middle School.  The locale is my grandfather's house.

This was a picture of my dad's car (Chevy Cavilier) , after a terrible storm struck.  This place is at the Zeus Industrial Products Plant, in Raritan NJ.  Seen in the background is my dad, and my two sisters.  I took the picture.  The tree that fell on the car had been already been chopped up.  Our family had to get a new automobile (Plymouth Voyager mini-van) afterwards.  Oh, I'm so thankful.  All the employees were moving their cars vehicles, during the storm.  My dad, I forgot the exact details, was stalled.  HAD HE ACTUALLY WAS IN THE CAR WHEN THE TREE FELL, WELL IT DIDN'T HAPPEN, SO LET'S NOT GO THERE...

From a summer vacation trip to Cape May.

I stayed in the room on the right, bottom floor.  Of course, my family was vacationing with friends.

School Career Facts/Info:

Graduated from Middlesex High School, in the top 10% of the class of about 250 students back in 1999.
Known for (back at Middlesex):
-Perfect Attendance (4th grade-12th grade)
-Honor Roll
-French Club President (Senior Year, 1998-1999); I was the ONLY president, in recent years, who pushed to do stuff. The majority of presidents before and SOME after me (no offense...) did little, if anything at all.  I was the only president to have held so many fundraisers- in a year, and the club nearly got to go to the annual dinner (some members who didn't care...)   In fact, the club, according to someone I spoke to over the summer of 2000, says that the club is sort of falling apart w/out me.  I blame the decline of the club for the following:  students who don't care/ aren't decicated enough, and the advisor of the club- who REALLY should work even harder. The advisor, who shall go unnamed and is now longer at Middlesex High School, never worked hard enough, I think.
-Golf Team (Freshman and Sophomore Years); I sucked big time, but I sort of had fun doing it. The team records for those years were awful (almost like a certain football team at a certain college... under a former Coach Terry Shea).
-Having a Digital Wristwatch set to the exact second/ bell.  People always could count on me for the exact time/ countdown before class started or when class would end.  To bad that's not the case here at Rutgers...
Favorite Academic MHS Subjects/ Classes:  Foods I., Accounting, Creative Writing, all English classes (except...)
Favorite MHS teachers (former or present):  Ms. Alessi, Miss Spang, Ms. Somers, Ms. Dowling (FORMERLY Urbielewicz, as she is married now!!!)
Least Favorite Academic MHS Subjects/ Classes:  Junior Year English (a.k.a. English III C.P.), C.P. Chemistry
Least Favorite MHS teachers (former of present): Ms. McMeekan  (I found out from a very dear friend that she's retired after the 2000-2001 school year, first off:  Good riddens, and second: Why couldn't see have retired EARLIER?  Everyone who had her, especially those of who graduated (and had her for Honors and Regular English III) in 99 hated her, to a certain extent. I'd rather not go into detail of why the class of 99 and myself hated her so much.  Of course you would think she'd simply go away-but now she's STILL HAUNTING the halls of MHS... in a substitute teacher capacity.  Will there ever be peace over at MHS?
Favorite Teachers (non-high school):  Ms. Darlene Campana

Candid Shots Part 2:

Picture of the French Club that NEVER made into the yearbook, can you guess why?  (A good friend of mine, had his eyes closed... it's alright James... I forgive you...) I'm the one sitting on a chair, first from the left.  Another good friend of mine, Beth Shephard, is in this picture.  This was taken, around the time she was bound to a wheelchair, for a while.  I remember being able to push her to her next class, leaving Mr. Shanahan's AP European History class early, YES!!! Anyway, I also recalled, having to push her, when a fire drill alarm went off during Miss Spang's 7th period Calculus class.  Locale:  MHS Library.

Here I am during French class, 1st period, 1998-99 school year.

Here's the actual photo of the French class, that made it into the yearbook.  This was our class, French IV, BEFORE our foreign exchange student (he's the sixth one from the left) left mid-semester...

A picture of me, and Ms. Campana, during the Eighth Grade Prom, held in the Middlesex Recreation Center.
You may have noticed that I only scanned HALF the Polaroid.  The other half has a pic of someone who I really hate, who was once a friend, but is now, IS AND WILL BE FOREVER a complete jerk...
Ms. Campana is one of my closest friends.  I still visit her, to talk, to get advice, etc.  Ms. D.C. Jordanski, in my original fanfiction, is slightly based on Ms. Campana.

This is a picture of me, and a friend, Beth Shephard, during a History trip to Ellis Island, during our Junior year.

This is a picture of me, and once again, Beth Shephard.  This was taken during the Junior-Senior Prom of the 98-99 school year.  I had so much fun during the prom.   I kinda forgot where the prom was...

Here's a solo shot of me.

I graduated on 6/17/1999.  The same night, the graduating MHS class when on a lovely trip, on a boat, the Spirit of New Jersey, for a ride all around Manhattan and stuff.  We talked, we danced, we gambled (fake money), but we all had the chance to spent one more time with each other.  This is a picture of me, and a good friend, Ted Paraskeupolous (I hope I spelled the last name correctly...), after we got back from the all-night trip.  We had just received our door prizes, and had our breakfast for the morning.  It was around 4 to 6 in the morning, when this picture was taken.  This place is the MHS cafeteria.

This is a picture of a cake, the Tazmanian Devil, made by Kitchen 2 during Ms. Alessi's Foods and Nutrition I. class, 1998-99.  Along with me, there were 3 others in this group, Mike Hionis, Eric Weber, and Brian Mulcahy.  Boy, it was a good year.  There were slight complications that arose when we made the cake.  That's me in the background, wishing dishes.  This was also the day that I had to take care of a baby doll, for my Senior year Health class.  If you look closely, you can see the "key" and the wristband that kept the key bound to the right arm.

Busch Dining Hall (dinner majority)
Brower Commons (lunch take out majority)
Cooper Dining Hall (dinner take out majority)
I tend to eat at Busch every time I get now.  Busch is very nice, very comfortable, the atmosphere is just NICE...
Unfortunately... heh heh... LOL... my weekday routine often involves Lunch Takeout from Brower and Dinner at Busch... of course there is some variation based on what's served...
