On October 12, 1993, Belgian officials removed me from Van Helmont Hospital

and put me in prison because I had not left Belgium by February 22, 1993, as ordered.

I was not charged with any crime.

"Talk about your case to the police" is a euphemism that means "agree to go back to your country."
