Card Rules
Below is a brief synopsis on how to play the pokemon card game for those of you that are not sure or for those of you that would like to begin playing.
Turn order:One person takes a turn, then the person takes a turn, you keep doing this until one player wins.
What to do:You always start your turn by drawing one card. After that, you use Poke'mon and trainers from hand: any number of trainers and up to five Poke'mon (with up to five Poke'mon on your bench plus your'active' Poke'mon).after attacking, your turn ends.
Card types: there are only three types of cards:
Pokémon: These are the monsters you've recruited to fight for you. They come in lots of "stages" and you must play the lower stages before playing the figher ones. On the Poke'mon list it always shows their hit points and how much hits they can take before being knocked out, what attacks it can make, what it's weak against (if any thing), what it's strong against and what it costs to retreat (switch the'active'Poke'mon with one on your bench).
Trainers: These cards do all kinds of things, from allowing you to draw another cards, to gealing your damaged Poke'mon. Which ones you include in your deck is an important part of Poke'mon strategy.
Energy: These cards come in seven dirrerent colors and are used to power up your Poke'mon. Without energy, your Poke'mon can't attack.
Fighting: Poke'mon battles are like boxing matches. Each team only has one active fighter in the ring at a time. You choose which Poke'mon you want to be your other Poke'mon in reserve on your "bench.". Benched Poke'mon don't fight; only your active Poke'mon deals damage what its powers are.
