Costumes are NOT – at all – “MANDATORY”
for attending a Renaissance Festival!

The SOLE purpose of
attending IN COSTUME
is to ENHANCE your
ENJOYMENT of the Faire.

And, COSTUMES DO THAT!
They really, really DO!!!

But, they are NOT – at all –
“REQUIRED!!!”

If you hesitate to
wear a costume
to your
FIRST Ren Fest/Faire,
THAT’S FYNE!!!

JUST GO IN
COMFY CLOTHES!!!

The MOST “important” thing is that you
GO to the REN FEST / FAIRE!!!
After attending your FIRST REN FEST / FAIRE,
you won’t ever again HESITATE
to go in COSTUME – I PROMISE!!!

Long before they were married,
myne gude brother & sis-in-law,
Sir Steve and Lady Jodi
participated in the
1985 Renaissance Wedding
of a friend of theirs.

Hence, Steve’s Tunic & Sash was the
the FIRST Ren Costume I ever made!

(I really HAVE been fussing with
Ren Stuff for a LONG TYME!)

Obviously, Steve’s Tunic & Sash was
an INCREDIBLY SIMPLE Ren Costume.
(Immensely helped by him
bravely donning TIGHTS!)

As you soon will note, I’ve produced
MUCH BETTAH, and
more ELABORATE,
COSTUMES since then!!!

BUT, as you can SEE! “SIMPLE” WERKS JEST FYNE!!!
Never, EVER fear that your Costume is too “SIMPLE!”
If it makes you HAPPY, WEAR IT WITH PRIDE!
