Surf the Internet for Costume Ideas &
PURCHASE SOURCES!

Prices for garments (or accessories) purchased at Fest / Faires are often INFLATED. If there is a “costume” vendor in your city, that may be a gude source for reasonably inexpensive stuff. However, the Internet verily is a fyne place to find stuff at much better prices – AND, often a place wherein you can make “Special Orders” for stuff designed specifically to fit YOUR needs. Additionally, if you’re making your own costumes, the Internet is a GRANDE place to find costume ideas!

I’ve only linked a FEW sites here — ones I’ve specifically looked at.
There’s TON’S MORE sites out there on the Internet!
Just type the thing you’re looking for in a SEARCH box
(such as, “renaissance skirt”)
and whack on SEARCH!

This is how it appeared
upon purchase.

“Crimson
Gypsy
Designs”

Ren &
Gypsy
Clothing.

This is the site
I bought my NEW
REN SKIRT from.

A “Yoke Skirt” for $50.00

“Full, floor length skirt attached
to a fitted yoke with lacing
up the front. Gives a smooth
look to the waist and hips.”

& YES, IT DOES!

Crimson Gypsy
also offers
many other things,

such as this
very nice
Men’s Doublet
for only $80.00.

Upon receiving Myne
Crimson Gypsy Skirt
I decided to
“JAZZ” it up a bit!

By attaching a
LACE SHAWL EFFECT
To It!!!

It looked SPECTACULAR!!!
(If I do say so, myneself!)

Highland Rags
This web site seems too gude to be true!
Verily, they request TONS o’ measurements
from you, before you can order clothing.
This says (to me!) that they make stuff
that FITS WELL!!! (What a Concept!)
I haven’t used them – Yet! But, I have
referred Mistress Jacki to them. I’ll keep
you apprised. Some text from their site:
“At least half of the gowns we do are "SPECIAL ORDER", don't hesitate to inquire about a fabric choice, color, or even a style change for one of the gowns. We even have customers who send us pictures of gowns they'd like us to duplicate. We love doing it!”
Their Prices? Check out the description of
their “Highland Lass” Costumes (at Right)
I think ‘tis RIGHT CHEAP! since the
price is for an Entyre ENSEMBLE!

Left view split overskirt, right view full overskirt.
On order form indicate your preference. Both come complete with chemise, overskirt, lace-up bodice and shawl! List Price: $165.00

DOMBA
“An Internet shop for
Gypsy and Belly Dancer’s
costumes, jewelry, accessories,
and instruments.”

Turkish scoop vest: $65
