Part 1-Chapters 1-3

Author's Note: This fanfic is a special one that I wrote while making EF DBZ HP. I have decided to carry over to the WC and continue where I left off months ago! Parts are made up of 3 chapters. I will write more chapters as soon as the original 13 are up. (The first 13 chapters are very short but, starting at 14, they will be of normal length.)

Chapter 1: A Prince's Start

King Vegeta looked happy.
Eyes opened, new eyes to the world.
The world would change later, this powerful world, too powerful for contempt.
A planet called Vegeta. A planet with inhabitants with power beyond imagination! The strongest race ever! Once, before all this, this planet: Vegeta, was a peaceful planet ruled by a race called the Tsuru-jins! This race was very intelligent. They were ahead of the Universe in technology, until, that is until the other race on the planet broke out and were tired of concealing themselves! This race was a powerful one, far too strong for the Tsuru-jins! The Tsuru-jins being only powerful in their technology, did not stand a chance against this insane race. After the hidden race killed off the Tsurujins, they "took" their technology which ultimately made them the strong race they are today!
Today...
Today...
It all happened today. Not that old story of the past but a beginning to a new one, an entirely new story!

One about a newly born Prince,....... the Prince of the Saiya-jins! The Saiya-jins, the most feared race in the entire Universe! Yes, it was the Saiya-jins in that old tale of death. The Saiya-jins, living on their own named planet, Vegeta! Vegeta, named after the King of the Saiya-jins and...a new-born Prince.

Chapter 2: Last Man Standing
The Prince of the Saiya-jins has grown to be a powerful, young 5 year-old! However, the top Saiya-jins on the planet are sensing an extreme power heading towards the planet Vegeta.
Waiting.
...Power flares...
The ground starts to rumble, the young Prince can feel the power now, too! The whole planet is falling apart! All the cities are being destroyed! All those long years of selling other planets is over...
Quickly, the Queen of the Saiya-jins reacts to the destruction. He puts her son, Vegeta, into a small pod. A pod? Not worthy for a Prince! It is the only thing left! Elsewhere on the planet, 4 other couples of Saiya-jins are putting their children in pods also. 4 small boys. Is that really enough of their race to carry on the legacy? They sleep in their small pods while their planet is being destroyed! As the pods race through space, their planet is now gone...

That's a false tale. Not a real one but a lie. There were only 3 boys who, after years, were already sent to get their planet ready to sell. That story was what Prince Vegeta was told! Not true. Thanks to the brilliant mind that made scouters, he was able to contact a lone soul, of course of a different species but it was a powerful soul indeed. A soul that not only has his own empire but, believed greatly in the Saiya-jin's will to regroup. This being was Frieza. Frieza told the Prince the truth. Also, that same scouter helped locate another of the 3 who made it off of Vegeta. I dense Saiya-jin whose name was Nappa. Nappa and Vegeta became friends and traveled around searching for "entertainment." Little did they know that it wouldn't remain that way for long...

Chapter 3: Incoming Report
The two Saiya-jins, along with the guidance of Frieza, found food on a uninhabited planet called Banja. After finding berries to eat, they sat on a fallen log. An incoming message on Prince Vegeta's scouter started. Not from Frieza but of an unknown Saiya-jin, "one of the four." He called himself Radditz, he positioned himself as the eldest Saiya-jin left and brother to the youngest, he then spoke of his long-lost brother, he called him...Kakarrot.
Kakarrot.
Vegeta thought about that name, he remembered that he had heard that name on planet Vegeta, it was probably when he was young. For when Kakarrot was born...that was the year that planet Vegeta blew up from that awesome, unknown power.

Radditz then told the two that Kakarrot had not completed his assignment to set up the planet Earth, the planet he was sent to, for inspection and sale. Radditz stated that he would jump into his pod and locate his little brother and correct his mistake.
Off he went.
That was the last Vegeta and Nappa heard of the Saiya-jin...
