1. What's the first thing you see at an entrance? A title! If you've been to as many "Gokou's DragonBall Z Pages" as I have, you know that you get turned away from a site if it's title is the most common name in the history of the internet!

2. Coming up with a good name is key! Something that catches your visitors attention will make them ponder the site's content. Try to keep it related!

3. Remain on topic while you keep #2 in mind. Are you gonna title a website that sells fansubs "Odor le Novelty?" NO! A good title for a site that sells fansubs would be "Anime Amazon." The topic is what you center it on.

4. At least try to think up something intelligent! "SoN GoKuH'S SuPeR133t UlTiMaTe DbZ HoMePagE" isn't going to make people respect you... I've seen that title used as a bad example on "Deizenshuu EX," "Vegeta Insane" and "Big Bang Attack!" So, how many times have you seen it and NOT cracked up laughing!?

5. CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR CAPSLOCK ISN'T STUCK BY BILE AND OTHER DISGUSTING STUFF!!! YOU CAN MAKE A TITLE WITH ALL CAPSLOCKS FINE BUT, TELL ME THIS, DO YOU NEED TO? Oh, and if you do happen to have a Capslock title, don't write all normal text on the site in caps!

6. If you have a title image, use a readable color! Also, make your title background color correspond with the regular background! If you put your title in white and you have a black site, you're in trouble!

7. DoN't WrItE LiKe ThIs,,, aS i MeNtIoNeD EaRlIeR!!!

8. Please, and I repeat, PLEASE, do not write paragraphs and make them blink! If it's important, put it in bold letters! If I see blinking text, I'm not waiting .43 of a second to finish reading it...it might as well be gone!

9. If you're using average, circulated images for your title image (and this goes for the site too), at least edit it so it's not the same stupid thing I can find at "SoN GoKuH's SuPeR133t UlTiMaTe DbZ HoMePagE!"

10. Take time! Your title image doesn't have to be eye candy or anything but, if it's just a color with regular words in front of a "village" image...I'm going to assume that you did it in Paint in under 10 seconds and that the rest of your site is that way too.

11. On the site, write like your IQ is above room temperature! Here, I actually took this from a site I was at one time (not like I go around looking for poorly-made sites or anything):

"welcome to my dragonballz site. i spent long time on it i hope you like What i did because it wasnot easy to do."

You can obviously see he used NO PUNCUATION (with the exception of two periods)! He didn't space correctly, didn't use proper grammar and, I'm taking a *long* shot on this but, this guy is under 10 years-old or has the English skills of a second-grader and, to add on to it, his typing skills absolutely suck! Don't do that! If you want respect then don't show your visitors that you really are an ignoramous! "It's better to let people think your an idiot than to open your mouth (or type, in this case) and leave no doubt!" If I want that kind of stuff, I'll monitor progress in a Special Ed class!
