Character Profiles-8

Welcome to the Character Profiles! A list of characters is below.

Broli
(Brolli)
He is the Legendary Super Saiya-jin! This kid was actually born a Super Saiya-jin! But, Broli got a taste of what I like to call "the Annoyingness of Gokou." Broli was put in a nursery with Gokou as an infant and, when Gokou cried, Broli went insane from the noise! No joke! Normally, I'd proceed with some well-deserved Gokou-bashing but, I'll leave that for a later time. Vegeta Ou (King Vegeta) thought a kid with this much power would be a threat to the royal family of Vegeta, so he told his guards to "dispose" of Broli and his Father. Paragus (Broli's dad) was rescued by his son's tremendous power and the two escaped. Years later, Paragus finally catches up with his enemy, Vegeta, the son of Ou. Amazed by the feeling of revenge, Paragus invites the Z Crew to come visit the "New Vegeta-sei." Little do they know, it's all part of his plan. However, when Paragus releases his son to kill the gang, Broli becomes a maniacal, power-obssessed freak again, and recalls of the time Gokou made him cry. Broli kills his own father and the battle begins. I really like Broli, he is so cool! Heck, give kudos to the Super Saiya-jin with enough power to take on 3 SSJs! I'd hate to see what'd happen if he ever reached SSJ3! ^_^ Well, I basically gave you a Movie 8 review right there...but, Broli is only a Movie villian and appears in Movies 8, 10 and 11. Although in 11, he is just a clone so, that doesn't count. His attacks include numerous Ki blasts, Bakujutsu, Ultra Saiya-jin (SSJ 1.5) and dozens of other techniques!

Zarbon
Zarbon is Frieza's number-one henchman. He first appears in the Namek Saga on Namek-sei. We get to see him fight first with a bunch of Namek-jins and, after easily defeating them, gets a one-on-one fight against the Saiya-jin Prince himself, Vegeta. This battle is even until Zarbon unleashes a power that Vegeta didn't even see coming... the power to transform. In Form Two, Zarbon kicks Vegeta's butt without giving him a chance. Literally dumping the Prince's body in a custom-made lake, Zarbon goes back to protect his master's DragonBalls. Once Frieza realizes that Vegeta might still be alive, and that he might possibly know where the rest of the DB's are, he sends Zarbon back to pick up Vegeta's body to rejuvenate him. Finally healed many episodes later, Vegeta tricks the duo and steals Frieza's DragonBalls. Then, when Vegeta catches Kuririn with the last DB, he follows him. Zarbon also gets on his tail and Round 2 begins. The battle resumes and when Zarbon transforms again, Vegeta shows him that a Saiya-jin does get stronger after every battle! Thus, the end of Zarbon... :-( His moves include tons of blasts, Bakujutsu, transformation and a bunch of physical power moves usually from the hands.

Dodoria
Rack up the hit points for Vegeta! This is Frieza's previous henchman next to Zarbon. He kills Dende's brother (YES! KILLS, FUNimation!) and father during the Namek Saga. After lots of encounters chasing Kuririn and Gohan, following Frieza, extracting screams from people, destroying things and just plain being nasty, Dodoria gets a taste of his own medicine when Vegeta finally catches up to him. Dodoria makes a bribe to Vegeta, telling him who really destroyed his home planet but, alas, the pink monster still dies! BOOHAHAHA! ^-_-^ He has a lot of moves like flying, shooting Ki from his mouth and...yes, even the sit-down piledriver...ouch!

Shenlong (Eternal Dragon)
(Shenlon)
(Shenron)
Well, although this is page 8 of the Profiles, this creature is high enough on the important character meter to be on Page 1! Essentially, the whole series of DBZ revolves around this ugly thing. Every year, the DragonBalls are revived, enabling the power to summon upon Shenlong, the Eternal Dragon of Earth. If you collect the seven DragonBalls, you get one wish from this dude. After that, the DB's turn to stone until one year has passed once again. So, if you think about it, Shenlong is the most important character of the whole series, even past Gokou. His powers are that of Kami; no wish can be made if it surpasses Kami's powers. But, then again, his independent powers are pretty much nonexistent! Go figure...

Fusions
He kinda fuses with Gokou at the end of Dragonball GT.
