The 2000 Olympic trials this month decided the men's, and women's Olympic teams. The three leaders, Elise Ray, Amy Chow, and Kristen Maloney all performed spectacularly, despite mishaps on beam. Morgan White had a great meet, and placed 4th. Jamie Dantzscher was once again good on three events, but fell off the beam twice. Vanessa Atler surprised everyone. She once again lost her confidence on bars, stuttered on her beam dismount, and had mistakes on both vault and floor. Dominique Dawes dazzled once again, and Alyssa Beckerman was not at her best, but did well. Now it was up to the selection commitee, with Bela Karolyi being the leader. The 2000 Women's Olympic team is...

Elise Ray, Kristen Maloney, Amy Chow, Jamie Dantzscher, Morgan White, Dominique Dawes. Alternates-Alyssa Beckerman, Tasha Schwikert.
