My Interest in Computer Networking
Ever since I saw my first real computer network, at North Carolina State
University back in 1989, I have been fascinated with how computers talk to
each other and exchange information. It is amazing how fast you can
copy a file from one computer to another, even over a long distance. The
increasing speed of computer networks and computer processors have made this
a time of streaming media. I have read a lot of information on different
types of networking protocols, configured computers at home on a network
to communicate with each other, and finally decided two years ago to go back
to school for a computer networking degree.
If all continues to go well in school, I will graduate in May of 2004 with
an Associate's Degree in Network Administration and Support.
