North Carolina Mountains

The following pictures were taken from a moving vehicle but they turned out pretty good. I thought I might just give you an idea of how beautiful the mountains are here! I hope you enjoy the pictures and maybe consider making the mountains of North Carolina your next vacation destination!!

Mtns. In Maggie Valley, NC

Our mountains are pretty in the fall with an assortment of beautiful colors gracing the mountainsides. Later I will try to add some fall pictures here. These were taken just before the leaves turned colors.

No longer in Maggie Valley

This picture was taken going west on I-40 toward Jackson County. As you can see there are plenty of mountains all around us.

Lake Junaluska

The two pictures above were taken at Lake Junaluska. There is a trail around the lake for anyone who wants to take a walk around the lake. The two pictures below were taken at the same time as those above. But the suns glare on the water makes it look like a moonlit night. I thought they made pretty pictures so I wanted to include them here.




This last one below is just a sample of the "lake residents". There are lots of ducks, geese, mallards and swan that are around the lake. People who walk will usually feed them and others just drive around the lake to see them and throw out bread for them to eat.
