If you like birds you will like these! I think Australia has some of the prettiest birds anywhere. A very nice guy from Australia sent these pictures to me when I was talking to him on ICQ. I thought I would share them with everyone. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I did. Thanks Jeff, for sharing your pictures with me! I hope you don't mind me using them on my site. Lorakeets
These birds are called Lorikeets. They are one of the prettiest birds in Australia.
The two pictures below are birds called Galahs. They resemble the pigeon but are a lot prettier.
Rosella
The picture above is another of the more colorful birds in Australia. This one is called the Rosella.
Below are two more of a wide variety. The one on the left is called the Little Dove. On the right is one called Peaceful Dove.
Princess Parrot
The picture above is called the Pincess Parrot. Even the male parrot is a princess!
Below are pictures of the Magpie. I have heard of them but never seen any. I had no idea what they looked like.
"Top-Notch Pigeons"
I have a few more pictures but these last two aren't bird pictures but I thought you might want to see just a small part of Australia. Even the ground is very colorful!!The picture on the right is the Ayres Rock in Australia.
