Most of the news items listed on this page come from the Northern News newsletter that is delivered to Norths members 6 times per year.  Copies of each newsletter are available in text and/or pdf format. You can download the Free Acrobat Reader from the Adobe site.

June 2002 [pdf]  Find out which club members won annual ACT and NCG awards.  This edition also includes a profile of John Jakeman, and lists many of the issues to be considered in a review of the track and field season.

April 2002 [pdf]  We now have a new name - North Canberra-Gungahlin Athletics.  Also read what it is like to take part in an Empire State Building run-up from one who knows - Paul Crake.  And find out which of members won medals at this year's ACT Track and Field Championships.

February 2002 [text  pdf]  Shaun Creighton wins won of the first major races of the year - in sub-zero temperatures!  This edition contains the results from December's All Schools Championships and, for history buffs, gives a list of past office bearers of the club.  Some interesting names appear.
