Frame #A

Batting stance

The batter has taken an athletic stance in the box. This stance would be similar to the ready position of a tennis player or
soccer goalie. A slightly crouched position with the weight evenly distributed on the legs.

The hands are about shoulder high with a slight cock to the bat. The shoulders are in a fairly straight line with the pitcher.
At this time, the rear elbow is elevated to or past the midway (45 degree) point.
