Patty Quotes
Lonely Too Long:
I just did the song, because I felt that the song was about, you know,
I think there's nothing wrong with two people coming together,
and supporting each other in a time of loneliness.

They are coming to take her away...Ho! ho! hee! hee! ha! ha! to the funny farm, where life is simple, and she can be withpromo31.jpg her friends again..........You wish!! And stop laughing at me. GIVE ME THE KEYBOARD YOU MANGY MUTT!!!! And get your TONGUE out of my ear!!!! Now, if you can control your cat doggy breath self, I have to finish this!! QUIT STARING AT MEEEEE!!!!!

I deeply apologize for the disturbance. It seems little miss attitude thought she was being cute. Anyway we are now at the album critics raved about. Are you ready, I do not believe this!! I had a list of magazines that voted this album best of 1996, and now it is gone. It was right here a minute ago. I bet I know who took it, stupid mutt. When I find it I will include it. Trust me, there were a lot of big magazines that did. Really big magazines, like Time, for instance, I know they really liked it. I am not crazy, you may think that, but I am not crazy. We will just go on and everything will be fine.

With each album Patty released since signing with Epic, I think there is now way she can top the last one. Once again she does. Patty has described "Trouble With The Truth," as a more adult album. These songs take on a more serious, grown-up aspect, than anything previously recorded. With the exception of a few songs, Patty touches on loss, pain, and a little grief thrown in for good measure. The bluegrass twinge of A Thousand Times A Day, express the heartache we have all experienced, with a quiet strength, which we all wish we had at some point. One song that was not released as a single, but I feel is one of the best on the album is To Feel That Way At All. You just feel it when she sings it. Once again, Patty has found a way to express those themes of pain, loss and heartache even better, but with a sound and feel that is different than others.

Well, I found my list, what is left of it anyway. People Magazine listed this album in their Top Ten for all 1996, and Time Magazine as I mentioned earlier, name it #4 out of all genres for 1996. Just so you know, I got even with the mutt, I stayed up all night and stared at her while she slept.

An interesting side note, is that Vince Gill returned to lend back up vocals on this album. (hmmmm.....just leave it alone.) This album is a must. Which means you must go out, you must buy it, and you must listen to it. And if you do not thoroughly enjoy this album, then there must be something wrong with you. Well my only loyal reader left, The Party Ain't Over Yet. I realize it has been a Long Stretch Of Lonesome for you reading all of this, but there are just Too Many Memories. So follow me to Where I'm Bound, and I will see you on the other side.
