  1. As true as one or more of those descriptions are, it's her descritpion in the novel of her own behavior toward Erik that formed my opinion of her. The way she so easily admitted to lying to him and using him and even calling him her 'faithful slave'. No matter how else she's portrayed, that's what I remember her most as, Manipulative & Greedy. --Empy

  2. Although you could argue that Christine was a "cheater" she was very innocent. That is one of her main characteristics in most versions of POTO. That's the main reason I think Erik was attracted to her...(esp. in the Kay novel she was like a little girl).

  3. in the movie and the books... christine of course chose raoul over erik. why? well, i have no doubt in my mind who she wouldve chosen if erik were physically beautiful. (note-he is the very definition of beauty if you arent blind enough to see it) what a stupid girl! all he asked of her was to live him, to be with him! BLIND TO TRUE BEAUTY
