if roual had not come christine would have stayed with the phantom she loved him but didn't stay because behind the scenes we didn't see roual made him stay with him.
I'm torn. The Phantom had a lot to draw a woman like Christine to him. That so many fans feel it as well is testament to it. But Christine was bound to see his darker, violent side sooner or later. Was she likely to stay through it? I can't help thinking no, but we'll never truly know. -- Empy
I dont think she would have. She was probably out of hope, and thought that no one would find her, but seeing Raoul helped her to stay strong through it. ~christine to be<3
