The Gospel Chicken arrived on the scene from Canada in 2002. The chicken has made many appearances at the Gospel Chicken House and other functions for the Lord. Their have been numerous people that have been the Gospel Chicken over the years. Some were female, male, tall, short, thin, and not so thin. In any case, the Chicken is greatly loved wherever she goes. The same person has been the chicken for over three years now. She travels around with the Gospel Chicken House Band to different performances, mission trips, revivals, and yes, sometimes she makes it to the Gospel Chicken House on Saturday Nights. She hopes to see a lot more of her friends soon. She has had some health issues in 2006. Her head had to go into the hospital for repairs, but she seems to be doing fine at this time. The chicken is loved by young and old. The chicken also loves the people that she comes in contact with. She enjoys brightening someone’s day with a handshake, touch on the arm, and yes even a dance now and then.
