As the long, hot, humid summer is upon Hong Kong, so is the heated battle for summertime sales between Coca-Cola and Pepsi. With Twins, Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung carrying the colors for Coca-Cola, Pepsi is responding with three publicity campaigns -- Pepsi Star Camp, Star Challenge and Blue Fantasy -- featuring its stable of celebrity spokespersons: Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Jay Chou, F4 and Britney Spears. Throughout the summer, Pepsi will release limited edition cans and bottles of Pepsi-Cola emblazoned with the images of the various artists in various poses. Reportedly, twenty cases of outfits and fifty pairs of shoes were used to shoot the photos for the big summer ad campaign.

The specially-marked cans will be available in the Hong Kong and Taiwanese markets.

In related news, Jay Chou(left) will be shooting his first television ad for Pepsi later this month. In it, Jay will be singing a song he wrote specifically for the ad. *Related images (courtesy Star East unless otherwise indicated):

Taiwanese Star Greets Fans to Launch 3 Million Dollar Video

About one thousand fans have gathered in Taipei for a chance to meet Taiwan most popular young R&B singer Jay Chou, as he promotes his forthcoming new album "The 8th Dimension".

The star is launching the video for his song 'The Final battle' from his new album 'The Eighth Dimension.'

The promotion costs 3 million US dollars to produce and took 7 days to film. It aims to recreate the style of a Hollywood movie. It is the first time Jay produced his music video outside studio. He specially flew into northern Thailand for filming.

The star also made some changes in his singing:
" "There are some differences in my up coming new album, I changed my pronunciation in singing, but still maintained my style, and I produced more love songs in my new album this time.""

The 23-year-old singer is famous for singing his own brand of R&B and Hip Hop, and has won over hordes of young Asian fans.
